Doula support is like having a fairy birthmother by your side. Whether you choose to birth in the hospital or at home, have a natural birth or use pain medication, doula support is beneficial for you!
While every birth is different, a Doula can help:
Lower time spent in labor.
Reduce anxiety in birthing person and partner.
Lower the rate of medical interventions, including C-sections.
Improve baby bonding post-birth for birthing person and partner.
Increase the odds of successful breast/chest feeding.

A mileage fee will be charged on any round-trip mileage exceeding 50 miles from my home in Spencerport. Mileage fee is current IRS mileage rate.

Non-Medical Support: Once hired I am your go-to person for all non-medical issues.
On-call support from 38 to 42 weeks.
Support and comfort provided once active labor begins.
Postpartum recovery assistance for up to 2 hours after your baby arrives.
In-Home Postpartum Visit: Offer guidance and reassurance as you transition to life with your newborn.
